About Jerry Labriola

Jerry Labriola, Jr., a longtime municipal public servant, is running to serve the 20th senate district towns including Bozrah, East Lyme, Montville, New London, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Salem and Waterford. 

The seat is currently held by Senator Paul Formica, who is retiring and has fully endorsed Jerry. 

Jerry is a father of four daughters and grandfather to five grandchildren. He and his wife Barbara live in Old Saybrook where she serves as Town Treasurer.

Jerry is a partner at Labriola Law Group, specializing in real estate closings, alongside his brother Dave Labriola, a state representative from Oxford, CT.

Jerry, originally from Naugatuck, previously served as Naugatuck town attorney and as chair of the Wallingford Board of Assessment Appeals.

He was head coach of the Ansonia H.S. girls soccer team from 2007 to 2011.

Jerry has also served the state Republican party for 14 years (from 2002 to 2015) in positions including chair, treasurer and state central representative.

He holds a law degree from Catholic University Law School and is a graduate of Gettysburg College. 

In his spare time, Jerry plays keyboards in the pop/rock cover band known as The Potentials.
